Celebrate

Coincidentally - or maybe not - the date in 1990 when the WHO eliminated homosexuality from the list of psychiatric diseases, a trend dating back to the end of the 19th century and which had taken place in the U.S. in 1973. In 2004 on this date Massachusetts was the first state in the Union to legalize same sex marriage. With Minnesota the 12th - and the only one in the center of the country - to legalize same sex marriage we are almost 1/4th of the way to it being recognized nationwide.

Photo: International Day Against Homophobia & Transphobia is this Friday!

IDAHOT an international day to draw attention to and challenge the discrimination that LGBT people from all over the world face each and every day.
